This position is Tuesday through Friday, 8:
30-5:
30 for nine and 1/2 months, beginning mid-August through the end of May.
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs and abilities.
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Creativity in designing engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources effectively.
